VALUE ADDED TAX (VAT)-FROM 2019
Affecting almost every transaction concluded in SA, VAT output and input is determined on a transaction-by-transaction basis. Legislation allows for zero-rated transactions subject to 0% VAT, standard-rated transactions subject to 15% VAT, and exempt supplies.
Our VAT specialists are equipped to analyse huge volumes of data by using our specialised software, cutting down drastically on clients’ processing time and effort spent on VAT return submission and reconciliation. We swiftly apply all relevant provisions of VAT legislation to analysed information, for example supply timing that determines when output tax was payable or input tax deductible, supply value and all details required for the completion, submission and accounting of VAT cost / return.
